【硫黄岳】初めての八ヶ岳でみた山頂からの雲海と深さ550Mのあの火口 / looking dwon the deep explosion crater like the Grand Canyon.

八ヶ岳の硫黄岳に登り、爆裂火口を撮影してきました。

　実は八ヶ岳に登るのはだったので当初は赤岳を目指そうと考えていたのですが、

先日登ってきた大雪山旭岳の爆裂火口と見比べてみたいという気持ちがあり硫黄岳にしました。

　色々調べてみると硫黄岳の爆裂火口は大爆発によって山体が吹き飛んでできたという証拠はなく、200万～1万年前までの度重なる火山活動によりできたというのが最近の定説です。

ただ「爆裂火口」という名称が既にこの山の固有名詞になっているので修正することは無いようです。

　硫黄岳への登山ルートには爆裂火口の稜線に沿って登ることができる夏沢峠ルートが設定されています。周囲に遮るものがなく、素晴らしい眺望を観ながら山頂を目指せます。

※私たちは下山時にこのルートを通りました。

　今回は二日間の様子を紹介させて頂きました。

硫黄岳の雄大な自然が少しでもお伝えできればという思いから登山の様子に空撮映像を交えてお届けしました。

This time I climbed Mt.Iodake at Yatsugatake.

It was my first experience to climb Yatsugatake, So I was initially thinking of climbing for Mt.Akadake, but I decided to climb Mt.Iodake because I wanna compare to the explosion crater of Mt.Asahidake at Hokkaido, which I climbed the other day.

According to reserch about this crater, there is no evidence that the explosion crater of Mt.Iodake was formed by the collapse of the mountain body due to the big explosion.

And it is a recent theory that it was formed by repeated volcanic activity from 10000 to 2million years ago.

However, the name "explosion crater" has already become a proper noun for this mountain, it seems that it continues to be used without modification.

The Natsuzawa Pass route, which allows you to climb along the ridgeline of the explosion crater, is set as the climbing route to Iodake. There is nothing to block the surroundings, and you can aim for the summit while enjoying a wonderful view.

I have walked this route when going down the mountain.
